I really believe that I need an off day to recuperate from the late hours required to watch the Cardinals play on the West Coast, and although I did go to bed at my normal time last night (which did help, by the way), I think the day off today may do wonders for the Redbird players – Albert Pujols and Matt Holliday, who have been in slumps recentlly, and to help completely heal Colby Rasmus and David Freese and get their bats and gloves bat in the regular lineup.
